Irene Ruby is an artist, educator, and founder of Makings and Musings—a creative platform built on the belief that everyone is creative and it's never too late to begin your art journey. After years in a corporate career, Irene rediscovered art as a healing practice following the loss of her grandmother. What began as a personal outlet grew into a mission to help others find joy and mindfulness through creativity.

Now a full-time artist, Irene teaches online art classes, hosts virtual and in-person workshops, and leads a vibrant community where people draw and paint together regularly. With over 1,000 online classes taught, Irene specializes in making art accessible—even for complete beginners. Her own artwork explores meaningful themes like healthcare, climate change, feminism, and more, using traditional and digital mediums to bring complex ideas to life.
